Terms of Service

By creating an account or using CASC Master (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy & Data Handling Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

CASC Master is an AI-powered practice platform for psychiatry trainees preparing for the MRCPsych CASC exam. It provides simulated patient stations, practice with other users, and AI-generated feedback.

For educational practice only. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Simulated patients are fictional. Feedback is generated by AI, may be inaccurate, and does not guarantee any exam outcome. Nothing on the Service is medical, clinical, or professional advice.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; do not share access.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

You agree not to:

• harass, abuse, or behave inappropriately toward other users, including practice partners;
• enter real patient-identifiable information into the Service;
• scrape, copy, resell, or redistribute the Service’s content, scenarios, or feedback at scale;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• abuse credits, referral codes, or free offers, or use the Service unlawfully.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Practice with a friend or partner connects you with another user for live audio/video. You are responsible for your own conduct in those sessions. We do not vet users and are not responsible for what other users say or do, but you can report problems through Contact Us.

• Some features use credits or paid plans, as described on the pricing page.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider (PayPal). We do not store your full card details.
• Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, credits already used are not refundable. If something went wrong with a purchase or a session, contact us and we will review it fairly.
• We may change prices or plans going forward; changes do not affect credits you have already bought.

The Service, including its software, scenarios, text, and design, is owned by CASC Master or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own exam preparation. You keep ownership of your content, and grant us a licence to process it to provide, secure, and improve the Service as described in the Privacy & Data Handling Policy.

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, including during maintenance. Features marked “Beta” may change or be removed.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and any guarantee of exam success.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of exam results, income, or opportunity arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account and data (see Data retention and deletion). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Accounts that are idle for six months are deleted automatically.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
